With Sage BusinessVision your data is as current as the last transaction, making it easy to view up-to-the-minute information any time. There’s no need to wait for batches or period-ending processes to be completed. By easily accessing current sales, customers, inventory, vendors, receivables, payables, job-cost, payroll, and budgeting information for virtually any time period you can make better decisions regarding the status and direction of your business.
Sage BusinessVision can be tailored to fit your unique business requirements. There’s no need to replace your existing pre-printed forms as Sage BusinessVision can be configured to print to them. Alternatively, you may choose to print forms such as invoices, statements or purchase orders to plain paper, including your logo or other graphics. No more ordering pre-printed forms.
With CustomPack, the optional add-on tool, you can expand the functionality of Sage BusinessVision even further. For instance, among many other things, CustomPack enables you to add up to 50 additional fields per module.
Although it is the ideal small- to mid-sized business solution, Sage BusinessVision can be scaled to accommodate more than 100 users and is operating in many large, multi-user organizations across Canada.
By seamlessly integrating with Microsoft Office you can easily extend the functionality of Sage BusinessVision even further. For instance, publish financial reports in Microsoft Word for enhanced formatting, analyze financial reports in Microsoft Excel or link data to a Microsoft Access database for a custom-tailored solution.
There are a number of add-on solutions available for Sage BusinessVision designed to enhance your system. Like all Sage BusinessVision modules, each add-on module offers value-added capabilities, flexibility and unmatched performance.
The Sage BusinessVision Multiple Currency Manager is an add-on module that takes all of the effort out of managing foreign currency transactions. Sage BusinessVision translates all amounts into your base currency and keeps the base accurate relative to currency fluctuations. The system handles all conversions and translations using the powerful AutoPost feature, and calculates foreign currency gains and losses automatically. You can revalue unrealized gains and losses on demand, either retroactively or currently, permitting the backdating and adjustment of balance sheets and financial statements after the fact.
The system displays the appropriate currency symbol and date format for each currency on invoices, checks, and other output.
Sage e-BusinessVision is a unique e-commerce add-on solution that can extend your operations to the Internet. Sage e-BusinessVision provides a fully integrated Web store linked to your existing Web site, allowing customers place orders, view the status of their existing orders or even see the status of their account.
CustomPack extends the functionality of Sage BusinessVision even further through its unique components:
- WorkBook lets you add up to 50 additional user-defined fields to many Sage BusinessVision modules such as customer, vendor and inventory.
- Customer Specific Pricing gives you the flexibility to assign unique selling prices by customer for every inventory item.
- Document Linking can link almost any type of external document, such as word processing or spreadsheet files, images, etc., to individual customers, vendors and inventory items.
- Mail Merge makes it easy to use your Sage BusinessVision data, such as customer addresses or current balance, as a source for merging with Microsoft Word documents to create custom letters.
- SuperTicker presents critical data of your choice on your Sage BusinessVision desktop. It can even be sent directly to you by email for your information when out of the office.
